SWRS
provides to rehabilitation agencies and organizations social
work services that meet the requirements of the Medicare regulations.
Our experience indicates that rehabilitation interventions that
help to prevent injuries and/or to recover from injuries can
be negatively affected by personal problems and concerns that
can arise at home, at work, or elsewhere. These may include work-related
problems, family or relationship issues, the death of someone
close, concerns about drugs or alcohol, stress, depression, or
other personal challenges.
The
goals of SWRS are to:
• Deliver cost-effective social work services that meet Medicare regulations
to physical rehabilitation agency patients
• Provide social work services that cannot be performed in-house by clinic
managers, office staff, or physical therapists
• Provide consistent high-quality social work services to rehabilitation
agencies using pre-screened, licensed clinical social workers nationwide
| The
Voices of Patients
I am trying
to be positive, but I am hurting inside.
• • •
I can't take
the pain. I am waking up with pain...
• • •
I am not confortable leaving Mom alone.
• • •
I
feel like a failure as a person since I can't work anymore.
